BA in Chemistry
Students choose between two options for the Bachelor of Arts degree, each designed to cover the basic divisions of chemistry.
Both options include a combination of core chemistry courses and electives from areas like physics, calculus and quantitative analysis.
BA Degree Options
Option 1
Option 1 suits students considering careers in fields such as medicine, dentistry, law and business, with coursework balanced between chemistry and a wide selection of electives.
Option 2
Option 2 is intended primarily for students preparing for graduate study in chemistry or planning to enter the chemical profession and fulfills the American Chemical Society (ACS) certification requirement.
