Dr. Massaiah also created two green chemistry courses, one as an elective and one for third year chemistry majors. Furthermore, he is working on developing an MS program in Natural Products for the University of Guyana. As part of the MS in Natural Products program, Dr. Massiah intends to provide collaborative support to faculty at UG. He has helped several faculty with their research interest, utilizing his expertise as a chemist/biochemist.

On a lighter note, Dr. Massiah is enjoying  the constant tropical weather (same temperatures range in the day and night) and even took up archery with the UG and National Archery Club!
